The Great Leader is a twitter-bot made as a critique of fake news on contemporary social media. By taking API-data from different news sources, it spins apparently negative news into a positive news "for the great nation". The bot is primarily made using HTML, p5 javascript and JSON API-databases.

Open source, API & Datafication:
- API (Application Programming Interface) is connected to open source and openness
- The suppliers of API have no control over the actual outcome of their data. The relationship between the objective data and the subjective outcome of that data. Obvious parallels to our program, as we use open source api’s.
- JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) is a data structuring format = synergetic with object-orientated programming languages.
- What data do you choose to make public? How do you decide what data to share and what to keep? -> Parallels to our program
- Privacy of Public Data: Does the Individual know whether their personal data is used / profited on? And what it is used for?
