SDU Cand-it Case competition
In autumn 2019 I attended SDU's Cand-IT Case Competition, where students from the University of Southern Denmark, Aalborg University and Aarhus University were from November 8th to november 9th gathered for a 30-hour intensive case competition. This year's cases were linked to World Goal # 4: Quality Education and World Goal # 13: Climate Action and were presented by CoC Playful Minds and GPV Group respectively.
Out team decided to prototype and idea for combining play and education for young children. The idea was build around using projection mapping and simple geometric foam-shapes within a limited playground-area, in order to make children learn how to communicate their ideas better by projecting their own drawings (uplaoded via an app connected to a nearby playground) on the various geometric shapes.
The Case-competition gave great insights into working in design-sprints as well as how to work in a team of people whom you did not know in advance.
Beneath is a (very) low-fidelity, vertical prototype, that we quickly made (using adobe Xd) in order to show the flow of uploading a drawing from your phone-app to the central interface of the playground.
